Abstract The realization of High Speed Rail (HSR) lines generates different type effects that have been observed and studied in the scientific literature last decades. paper focuses on travel demand models to estimate HSR passenger mobility. may be segmented into three main components: diverted from other modes, or rail services, HSR; induced demand, which can direct indirect; economy-based growth. aim is analyse highlight actual trend publications analysis, thus identify existing research gaps needs inside this trend, so necessary future directions research.
